La météo est au plus beau. Pour commencer, parlons du métro aérien de Chicago. La moitié des lignes sont aériennes et circulent tout autour du Loop, la partiecentrale de la ville; Donc les rails sont coincés entre les buildings et les voitures circulent en dessous. Sans le vouloir la journée c'est déroulé presque comme un marathon. Pas en terme de course, même de distance parcouru à pied. Chicago se découvre facilement à pied; Entre une très grnade variété architecturales des bâtiments, les building en compétitions pour être le plus grand (la tour Willis reste la plus haute) et les nombreuses scultures aux quatre coins de la ville qui en font un musée à ciel ouvert (Chagal, Miro, Picasso, Dubuffet, etc...). Finalement on monte au sommet de la John Hancock Tower (94ème étage) pour le couché de soleil. Très étonnant, il n'y a pas de queue, il n'y a pas de contrôle de sécurité. La vue sur toute la ville est surprenante. On a également une magnifique vue sur le lac Michigan, un des grands lacs du nord des USA.

The weather is great. First, let’s talk about the Chicago skytrain. Half of the lines are overhead and run all around the Loop, the central part of the city; so the rails are stuck between the buildings and the cars run underneath. Unintentionally the day went almost like a marathon. Not in terms of running, even distance traveled on foot. Chicago is easily discovered on foot; Between a very large architectural variety of buildings, the buildings in competitions to be the largest (the Willis tower remains the highest) and the many scultures in the four corners of the city that make it an open-air museum (Chagal, Miro, Picasso, Dubuffet, etc...). Finally we climb to the top of the John Hancock Tower (94th floor) for the sunset. Very surprising, there is no line, there is no security control. The view of the whole city is surprising. We also have a magnificent view of Lake Michigan, one of the great lakes in the north of the USA.
